Quality Assurance Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:
  • Handle day-to-day QA/ QC operations, including incoming, in-process and out-going QC activities.
  • Ensure everything from raw materials to finished products meets quality and safety standard.
  • Ensure products are produced, handled, stored and distributed in accordance to company guidelines.
  • Assist in quality and food safety audit program (Internal, external and third party audit).
  • Involved in document control (Updating, filing and distribution of food safety and quality management system document).
  • Develop, implement and improve QA/ QC procedures.
  • Ensure proper implementation and execution of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Work interactively with Production, Sales, Marketing, Customer and Supplier in trouble-shooting and problem-solving of quality issues.
  • Involve in handling customer’s complaint, which includes investigate, co-ordinate cross-departmental communication, provide and verify corrective action.
  • Feedback to customer inquiry pertaining to quality of products.
  • Assist in conducting and providing training to new or existing staffs.

Requirements:
Education: Diploma in any biological science field (Minimum)

Experience: Experience in QA/ QC in food industry and/ or familiarization of food safety certification system are added advantages.

Skills:
  • Proficient in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia (Speak, read and write).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dynamic team player, able to work with all levels of employees in the organization yet also capable of working alone with minimum supervision.
  • Computer literature and proficient in Ms. Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Remark: Must possess own transport.
